Traduzioni legali, commerciali e tecniche

Il mio lavoro come traduttore è cominciato con la traduzione di manuali tecnici con localizzazione delle normative di riferimento. Col tempo sono diventata un’esperta nelle traduzioni di manuali tecnici e guide operative per i settori automative, impiantistica (meccanica, elettrica, software), medicale, sicurezza e sorveglianza. I documenti che traduco sono:

• Manuali operativi
• Manuali di installazione e manutenzione
• Manuali di montaggio
• Manuali programmazione software
• Manuali di ricambi

• Schede tecniche di sicurezza

Altro ambito di mia competenza è quello delle traduzioni in ambito commerciale. Il crescente bisogno per le aziende di agire nello scenario economico internazionale richiede un confronto costante con realtà linguistiche differenti. Nasce così l’esigenza di un servizio di traduzione professionale che possa affiancare aziende e privati nella loro attività quotidiana, aiutandoli ad abbattere qualsiasi barriera tra loro e i clienti e facendo sì che la lingua diventi per loro una nuova opportunità di sviluppo. In scenari del genere il mio obiettivo è quello di aiutare i miei clienti a parlare la lingua dei loro clienti. I documenti che traduco sono:

• Lettere commerciali, cataloghi, contenuti web
• Brochure, testi di comunicazione interna e aziendale

L’interesse per l’ambito giuridico mi ha aperto le porte anche ad un altro settore, quello delle traduzioni legali. La sfida è stata immensa e lo studio è continuo. Nel 2004 sono diventata CTU del Tribunale di Salerno dopo la presentazione di diversi titoli e il superamento di un esame, prima per il tedesco, poi per l’inglese e il francese. Successivamente sono diventata membro (MCIL) e Chartered Linguist (CL) del Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), membro AITI (Associazione Italiana Traduttori e Interpreti) e membro BDÜ (Associazione Tedesca Interpreti e Traduttori). Mi occupo di certificazioni, asseverazioni e legalizzazioni di documenti destinati all’Italia o all’estero. Legal, business and technical translations

My work as a translator began with the translation of technical manuals with localization of reference standards. Over time I have become an expert in the translation of technical manuals and operating guides for the automation, plant engineering (mechanical, electrical, software), medical, nautical, security and surveillance sectors. The documents I translate are:

• Operating manuals
• Installation and maintenance manuals
• Assembly manuals
• Spare parts manuals
• Sales manuals
• Guides with exploded drawings
• Safety data sheets
• Lists of components

Another area of my expertise is business translations. Globalization has resulted in businesses having to operate in an international marketplace. This means that you have to face situations in which you need the use of a foreign language. Thus it is vital to have a professional translation service that can cooperate with you during your daily business activities in order to help you break down barriers between you and your clients and help you use languages as another means of developing your business. In such scenarios, my goal is to help my clients speak the language of their customers. The documents I translate are:

My interest in the legal field has also opened the door to another area, legal translations. The challenge was immense and the study is ongoing. In 2004 I became a court-appointed translator of the Court of Salerno after presenting various titles and passing an examination, first for German, then for English, and French. I became then member (MCIL) and Chartered Linguist (CL) of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), an AITI associate member, and a BDÜ member. I deal with certifications, asseverations, and legalizations of documents for Italy or abroad. Rates depend on the word count in the source language, the level of difficulty of the text, the delivery time, and the file format. The rates for legal translations depend on the kind of document.
