Sono di madrelingua italiana e le mie lingue di lavoro sono l’inglese, il tedesco e il francese (livello C2). Sono laureata in Lingue e Letterature Straniere Moderne e sono in possesso del Diploma Universitario in Interpretariato e Traduzione. Ho avuto la fortuna di poter unire la mia grande passione per le lingue alla professionalità maturata dopo anni di studio, lavoro all’estero e tanta pratica, facendo dell’arte della traduzione la mia attività principale. E non è solo un modo di dire. La traduzione è esattamente questo, un’arte. Una traduzione di qualità richiede un equilibrio tra tecnica e sensibilità, tra bagaglio linguistico e senso della frase, della parola, del discorso. Aspetti essenziali e necessari per ottenere un risultato che rispetti il valore formale e contenutistico del testo originale.

Grazie all’esperienza acquisita sono competente nella traduzione di diversi testi, dal legale al tecnico-scientifico. Negli anni ho acquisito esperienza in diversi campi e lavoro per clienti diretti (aziende, enti e privati) e agenzie di traduzione.

Il mio punto di forza è il continuo aggiornamento nei settori di specializzazione e degli strumenti CAT (Computer Aided Translation). L’utilizzo di avanzati strumenti CAT, programmi di assistenza alla traduzione e uniformazione terminologica, mi consente di offrire prodotti di elevato livello qualitativo ed effettuare traduzioni in tempi brevissimi, nonché ridurre i costi del servizio.

I have been working as a professional translator for more than 20 years.

I am an Italian native speaker and the languages I work with are English, German and French (C2 level). I graduated in Foreign Languages and then got the Diploma in Interpreting and Translation. I could use both my passion for languages and the skills made during years of study abroad. Thus I made the art of translating my main activity. The translation is exactly this, an art. A quality translation needs a balance between skills and sensitivity, between linguistic experience and sense of the sentence, of the word, of the speech. These are essential and necessary aspects to obtain a result that respects the formal value and the content of the original text.

Thanks to the skills gained during my experiences abroad, I can provide my clients with high-quality translations of different types, from the legal to the technical-scientific field. Over the years, I have acquired experience in various fields and I work with direct customers (companies, organizations, and individuals) and translation agencies.
